The Offshore Group Supports Women's Health

At The Offshore Group we are always working to improve the quality of life of our employees and the communities in which we operate. Working closely with the Fundación Beatriz Beltrones, an organization that combats cervical and breast cancer through preventative measures, we were able to coordinate 790 pap tests and mammograms in our Roca Fuerte and Bella Vista manufacturing communities.

These tests were administered over a 3 weeks period during the month of July and were conducted in state-of-the-art mobile medical units. By bringing these complementary services into our facilities, our employees were able to access essential services that they normally go without. “Most of the time us women are so immersed in our daily work that we are not able to have these types of tests done, which is why bringing these services into the workplace is of tremendous value for working women like myself” said Mildred Ruiz an employee of The Offshore Group.

Preventative procedures are the key to early detection, we encourage all women to undergo these regularly scheduled exams. We would like to thank the Fundación Beatriz Beltrones and everyone who volunteered their time to make this event a success.
