APMA 19th Annual Automotive Outlook Conference

APMA announces its 19th Annual Automotive Outlook Conference, produced in partnership with Export Development Canada (EDC) and supported by Auto21 Inc. and Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE). This event is themed "Competing in the Globalized Economy," focusing on Canadian manufacturing competitiveness in the current global economy. The event will provide a macro review of economic conditions and focus more specifically on automotive conditions, examining key competitiveness issues being encountered by Canadian manufacturers in the current global economic landscape.

The agenda will include a high level review of relevant macroeconomic data points, provide strategic insight into the automotive sector in North America and globally, and will feature keynote presentations from Ontario's Minister of Finance, the Honourable Charles Sousa and from Dianne Craig, CEO, Ford of Canada.

Additional speakers include Derek Burleton, Vice President & Deputy Chief Economist, The Toronto-Dominion (TD) Bank, and Joe McCabe, President & CEO, AutoForecast Solutions LLC.

The Agenda will also feature a Strategic Financing Panel made up of: Gregory Trippenbach, Vice President, Transportation Group, Export Development Canada; David McQueen, Director of Consulting Services, THE OFFSHORE GROUP, Bob Civak, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Commercialization, Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) and GE Capital which will address Challenges / opportunities Canadian companies face in capitalizing on the increasingly global automotive industry.
